LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A popular brunch spot is  now officially open in New Albany. The celebration for the new Wild Eggs at 223 West Fifth Street in New Albany started Friday at 11 a.m., although the location has been serving customers since Monday. Breakfast and brunch favorite Wild Eggs is adding a New Albany, Indiana location. The new restaurant will be located at 223 West 5th Street. This space formerly housed Daisy's Cafeteria. Floyd County records show this land, which is near the Sherman Minton Bridge, is owned by Backyard Realty LLC. Wild Eggs has announced its expansion into Jeffersontown, Kentucky. The new restaurant will be located at 9010 Taylorsville Road in the Stony Brook Shopping Center. This is the sixth Wild Eggs to open in the Louisville market and the fourteenth restaurant for the concept. JEFFERSONVILE — Louisville-based restaurant group Wild Eggs will open its first Southern Indiana location along Veterans Parkway in Jeffersonville this spring. The 4,400-square-foot restaurant will be located at 1450 Veterans Parkway in the Jeffersonville Town Center and will employ approximately 50 people. Wild Eggs is coming to Carmel. There also will be a Wild Eggs restaurant in Indianapolis. Construction use set to begin at both sites in the next month. The Carmel restaurant, which will offer breakfast, lunch and brunch, is scheduled to open in February at 1438 W.
